Treating Animals with Compassion

Here at Fork in the Road, we believe that it is imperative to treat animals with dignity and respect.

Our hogs, cattle and chickens are raised the old-fashioned way and are free to behave like animals. They roam, root and rummage. They have access to daylight and fresh air. They're fed an all-vegetarian diet and are never confined in crates or given antibiotics, growth enhancers or added hormones. And they get to live their lives without undue stress or agitation.

All of our farms are animal welfare certified under the Global Animal Partnership (GAP) 5-Step Program. This third-party certification recognizes producers for their commitment to animal welfare practices, and promotes and facilitates continuous improvement in animal agriculture.

Our animals are sustainably raised in open spaces where they’re free to roam and exhibit their natural behaviors.
